This self-paced Bloodborne Pathogens Certificate Course is designed for students and workers who are at risk for exposure to blood and other bodily fluids.
The Bloodborne Pathogens Continuing Education Course is designed for healthcare workers who are at risk for exposure to blood and other bodily fluids. This fully online independent-learning introductory course teaches learners about the most common bloodborne pathogens, how they are spread and transmitted, guidelines to minimize exposure and infection, and how to dispose of infectious material. This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. Certificate of Completion provided upon successful completion. Completion requirements include review of all content slides, completion of all formative quizzes, passing the summative exam at 75% or better, and completion of the post-course evaluation survey.
