  • I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know that my students really enjoyed the Eve case study this semester! I received a good amount of positive feedback from the students about the case study and many students said that they appreciated the videos of the therapy sessions the most. Most students said that they liked it much more than other online resources we have used in the past such as Simucase and EHRGo! Moving forward, I would love to use ClinEdWeb again!--MOT Faculty

  • "I thought I would drop you a quick note with applause for ClinEdWeb! The cohort just finished the first assigned case study and response was quite positive. The students commented that the alternating of content and questioning seemed 'very natural, like I would anticipate it to be with a fieldwork educator. I think this is great preparation'. It’s all good - very satisfied so far!"--MSOT Faculty

  • "It was very helpful! Being able to observe Vera and Simone throughout this case study was wonderful. Each of the quizzes was helpful and helped me to gauge which information was most important. I learned a lot from this course. It was a great introduction to fieldwork level I as I could pace myself and rewatch videos to make sure I was not missing anything. I would recommend this course to any OT student!"--OTD Student

  • "Overall, we very much enjoyed the Vera and Simone case and found it to be a great tool. We felt it was a great introduction to an OT role in the mental health setting, and appreciated the use of real-life clients in addition to the depth of the assessments performed. We feel as if this would serve as an amazing tool to help students connect the dots between their classroom learnings and clinical application...we feel as if these modules would be best utilized within the classroom setting to support lecture content. Speaking from experience, these videos would have been incredibly helpful for me as a student. It can be easy at times to lose sight of the bigger picture, and to see the forest for the trees, and I think that your videos can be used as an excellent tool to sharpen a view of both. We will certainly pass on our high praises and recommendation to all our fellow faculty for them to consider this for their future courses."--OTD Faculty

  • "I absolutely love the case scenarios! I completed the Eve case scenario about a month ago. I feel as though I learned so much from both of the case scenarios and also had fun along the way! It was really interesting to see what types of assessments the therapists use and the administration of those assessments. Not only did I learn about evaluation and treatment, but I also learned a lot about how to speak to a client and how to build rapport. I will be starting my level 2 fieldwork at a skilled nursing facility and I found the Autumn case scenario to be incredibly informative. When I first found out about this assignment, I wasn’t super thrilled about the 6.5 hour time estimation to complete; however, I found that I really enjoyed it and it didn’t seem boring or redundant at all. I have spoken to a few of my classmates who feel the same way! Thank you for creating this EXCELLENT resource!"--MSOT Student

  • "I love them! I am a 1st year OTA student and I was a little nervous about online clinical treatments. But as soon as we began with Vera and Simone I knew that I was going to enjoy it. My classmates and I have round table discussions about each patient we've been assigned. Some of us facilitate the discussions, and it helps us to get a better understanding of this field. I also like the variety of clients that you offer. My professor arranged the ClinEd web scenarios to align with our other courses, so that what we learned in one class, we could actually see it in a diagnosis or treatment for a patient in ClinEd. I've really enjoyed working with this program thus far!"--OTA Student

  • "Thank you SO much! I loved both case studies I’ve done.. so helpful to learn our OT process!"--MSOT Student

  • "I am loving the case scenarios and they are a tremendous help while I am in graduate school. With COVID, we haven’t gotten a ton of hands on experience, so these cases really provide a good real life example."--OTD Student

  • "I LOVED this assignment and how interactive it was!" --OTA Student

  • "We absolutely love clinedweb!"--DrOT Faculty

  • "Thank you! I can't tell you how happy I am about your great product AND customer service! I get positive feedback from our students also, and they appreciate it."--MSOT Faculty

  • "Seeing the process play out in order from the beginning has been very helpful to see. In class, the process is hard to picture because we often practice each step separate from one another. Being able to go through the steps as they would occur in practice has helped me to see how each step ties together. Overall, I really enjoyed this experience and would like to do more like it!"--OTD Student

  • "Thoughtful design to case study. Permits students to apply various assessment practices, precautions, medical information, and intervention through case. Videos helpful and supplement learning."--OTD Faculty

  • "Thank you for providing such a wonderful learning experience for our students."--MSOT Faculty

  • "First, I cannot stress enough how impressed our students and faculty have been with the experience of using ClinEdWeb. The case we are currently using has generated amazing learning experiences and conversations across the curriculum and now that our students have completed the module and are handing in the related assignment I am looking forward to combing through their responses and sharing with you how we were able to enhance their learning using the resources and materials."--OTD Faculty

  • "I feel more confident in my skills now after completing this simulation. It was nice to see a true evaluation and treatment session after learning some of the concepts in this program. It gives me a different perspective than when I was shadowing OTs prior to the program."--MSOT Student

  • "Thank you, so much, Debbie, for your creativity and dedication to providing this valuable instructional resource."--MSOT Faculty

  • "I do feel more confident because I feel more comfortable after I have seen the OT process and what it looks like with this population. I also feel more comfortable with what group treatment looks like."--OTD Student

  • "I do feel more confident. This is now the third course of ClinEd that I've completed. It has been insightful and encouraging to see OT in action. I feel that I am more confident in being creative but skilled at implementing gross motor, fine motor, meal prep and sensory interventions."--MSOT Student

  • "I do feel more confident in my skills after completing the simulation. I feel like my knowledge concerning topics such as bilateral integration, handwriting and proper posture, etc. has increased significantly, which increases my ability to apply the information to the client's case."--MSOT Student

  • "When I was first introduced to OT, I was set on working in pediatrics. After completing this simulation, I realized I am interested in all areas of the field. The areas that interest me the most are still pediatrics, but also neuro and mental health."--Pre-OT Student

  • I learned about how to navigate complex cases such as Eve who has co-occuring diagnoses, an extensive PMH, multiple precautions, and is in a wheelchair. This is important because we are not going to have client that have just one thing wrong with them; most likely, we will have to handle multiple diagnoses and precautions at once.--MSOT Student

  • "I really liked how the therapist incorporated Cole’s interests into his intervention (mini golf and archery). This is a great example of client-centered practice which is what I will strive to do in my own practice."--MSOT Student

  • "I really enjoyed this OT simulation course. I have completed other virtual hours, but this one was by far the best! I enjoyed being able to read the patients' charts, seeing the actual interaction between the patient and the therapist, having access to the assessments, being able to score each assessment, and answering the questions at the end to ensure that I was understanding what was going on. I recommend this opportunity to anyone who is looking for observation hours!"--Pre-OT Student

  • "After completing the simulation I feel much more confident. I was able to observe a real patient and therapist interaction and record data/ observations myself. I was able to practice using the evaluation forms." --OTA Student

  • "After completing this shadow experience I have a better grasp on all the settings and interventions that I will be able to do as an Occupational Therapist."--Pre-OT Student

  • "After completing this course, I do feel like I have a better understanding of what occupational therapists do. I only had shadow experience in pediatrics, and while I knew occupational therapists worked in many different settings, there were still some I didn't know. It was very interesting to see all the things an occupational therapist can do and how many different settings they can work in."--Pre-OT Student

  • "Before this course I had only shadowed hand therapy and an outpatient center, so my I did not get to see as much as I would have liked. However after this course, I have now seen all the parts and different types of patients that I can encounter in the field which can only better my experience as an occupational therapist."--Pre-OT Student

  • "I really enjoyed the course! It was very helpful and I am so thankful that I came across it. Thank you so much for putting the course together."-- Pre-OT Student

  • "I do feel more confident in my skills now because being able to see the real deal live is amazing!! I feel like I am putting all of the pieces together on the puzzle now, thank you."--OTA Student

  • "I learned how the skills used in this case scenario are everyday skills used in practice. I was able to observe and point out certain elements and factors that I would not have noticed a few months ago, so my clinical observation skills have definitely improved over the course of 10 weeks into fieldwork."--MSOT Student

  • "I do feel more confident in my skills because we don't see real patients that often and it was a great example of every step of the evaluation."--OTA Student

  • "I am so glad that I decided to complete this shadowing practice! In undergrad I don't get much insight as to what occupational therapy really looks like in a variety of different settings, but, during this practice it provided that opportunity and clarified what setting I want to go into! I also found it interesting how although they were all occupational therapists they all brought their own unique twist to things and being that they were in a variety of different settings, it was interesting to see the kind of work that they do!"--Pre-OT Student

  • "The simulated FW we've designed with your system has been received with flying colors this summer from both the students and FW educators. It's been a great learning experience for our program!"--OTA Academic Fieldwork Coordinator

  • "We had 4 introductions today of various tools and they all have some great aspects. I will tell you that I like ClinEd the most and here is why. Your case studies really seem to focus on professional reasoning, I don’t need every case aspect spoon fed to the students. I know, that skills training is also essential for students, but that “thought process” that make OT’s unique is really essential and it’s in your cases. The cases are holistic just like our field. The other thing that’s important to me is not superficial learning. I want students to dive deep not skim the surface. I think we will have access to several tools; but I can say right now that I will be utilizing your platform most. Thank you for the hard work you all have put into ClinEd."--MSOT Faculty
