This online, self-paced Fieldwork Educators Training Course was developed in collaboration with Fieldwork Educators and Academic Fieldwork Coordinators to provide support for enhancing supervision of OT and OTA fieldwork students. After completion of this training, the Fieldwork Educator will demonstrate understanding of supervisory styles, theory, and practice skills, effective feedback techniques, conflict management tools, student well-being, cultural humility, and be provided with resources related to fieldwork supervision. Fieldwork Educators will receive a Certificate of Completion that can be used for CEUs.
The Doctoral Capstone Mentor Training course was developed in collaboration with Doctoral Capstone Coordinators and Mentors to provide education about and resources related to mentorship of OTD students. This fully online independent-learning Intermediate Level Continuing Education course is designed for new or experienced Capstone Mentors and Coordinators. After completion of this training, the Capstone Mentor or Coordinator will demonstrate understanding of doctoral capstone process including the capstone experience and project, roles and requirements of the mentor, effective feedback techniques, conflict management tools, student well-being, cultural humility, and be provided with resources related to capstone mentorship.
The Bloodborne Pathogens Continuing Education Course is designed for healthcare workers who are at risk for exposure to blood and other bodily fluids. This fully online independent-learning introductory course teaches learners about the most common bloodborne pathogens, how they are spread and transmitted, guidelines to minimize exposure and infection, and how to dispose of infectious material. This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. Certificate of Completion provided upon successful completion.
